Snowflake is a 4-year-old Goldendoodle mix with a gentle soul and a heart that’s just looking for a safe place to land. Due to her owner’s cancer diagnosis, her family had to make the incredibly difficult and loving decision to find her a new home. Please be kind—this was not an easy choice. Snowflake has lived a quiet life with her owners and two other dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming right now. She’s understandably a bit under-socialized and will need time, patience, and a calm environment to truly come out of her shell. She has been very sweet with us—just a little lost and confused as she adjusts to all the changes. She would do best in a quiet home without children, as kids tend to make her nervous. She has lived with other dogs, but a meet and greet will be required to ensure a good fit. She has never been around cats, so we’re unsure how she would do. Snowflake isn’t a “ready-made” dog—she’s the kind of dog who will blossom with the right person. Someone patient, understanding, and willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe again. In return, she has the potential to become an incredibly loyal and loving companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive girl to grow with, Snowflake may be your perfect match.
