Victor is finally ready for adoption!! Victor came to us back in September and we found out he was heartworm positive. Victor has underwent heartworm treatment and had his blood draw yesterday that showed he was microfilaria negative. Victor will need a heartworm preventative every month and a heartworm test on 9/3/2025. Otherwise, he is ready to bust out of here! Victor is a friendly boy and loves everyone he meets. He does act like a GSD and can be a little mouthy. Victor has been cooped up and on cage rest for many months so he may need a little more time to adapt to your home. He needs room to stretch his legs. A fence or an acreage would be best. Victor is pretty laid back in the yard and just loves attention and being close to you. He will need to be an inside dog, but would love to have plenty of room to be outside too. Victor didn’t care about the cats in the shelter. Victor did not react to our shelter dogs when he first arrived, but over time has became more reactive. We feel this may be due to the stress of his treatment, having to be on a cage rest and just the stress of the shelter in geberal A meet and greet with your dog will be required.
