💗 Gemma Deserves Her Forever 💗

Six years ago, Gemma walked out of Kiya Koda with a family of her own. Now, at nine years old, she has found herself back with us through no fault of her own.

And this one tugs at our hearts a little harder.

Gemma is a 9-year-old Bulldog/Pit mix and truly one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet. She loves people—pretty much everyone she meets becomes her friend. She has so much love to give and is happiest when she can simply be near her people.

After spending six years in a home, coming back to shelter life is a big adjustment for a senior girl. Gemma didn’t do anything wrong. Sometimes circumstances change, and while we never want to see one of our former dogs come back through our doors, we’re grateful that she’s here with people who already know and love her while we search for the home she deserves.

Gemma does need to be the only animal in the home, but we promise—she has more than enough love and personality to fill a house all by herself. ❤️

At nine years old, we’re hoping Gemma doesn’t have to spend long waiting. She deserves a soft bed, a quiet place to land, someone to love on, and the security of knowing she’s finally home for good.
