Rocky is our other handsome Great Dane who came to us as a stray with Tank. Unfortunately, no owner ever came forward, so we have no history on either of these big guys or whether they are actually related.
When Rocky first arrived, we were concerned that he may have been hit by a car. He was having a difficult time getting around, so we took him to the vet where X-rays were done. Thankfully, nothing was broken. He was started on medication, given some time to heal, and he is doing SO much better! He’s walking great, playing, and feeling more like himself every day. 
We aren’t sure of Rocky’s age, but our best guess is somewhere around 5–6 years old. He is scheduled to be neutered on the 25th, and we’ll have our vet give us their best age estimate then.
Rocky is a friendly guy who loves attention and being around people. He can be adopted with Tank, but they absolutely do not have to stay together. And just like we mentioned in Tank’s post, these two can be a whole lot of dog when they’re together. 
Since both boys are still intact, they tend to get a little overly excited and inappropriate with each other at times, including some frequent mounting. Neutering may help settle some of that behavior, but of course there are no guarantees.

This big guy has already had a rough start with us, but now that he’s feeling better, we’d love to see his next stop be a home of his own.
