Unfortunately this pretty girl, Ellie, was returned for being too protective of her people and home. Ellie was wonderful with the two adults in the home, but when the grandkids would visit she would become territorial. Great Pyrenees are a breed that guards. They are a breed that will protect. Ellie is a sweet girl that would love a home where she can do what she was bred to do. She appears to get along with other dogs, and will happily run up and down the fence line with them like she wants to play. She has not been reactive to any of the staff since returning to the shelter. We feel a farm home where she can have a job with no kids or older kids would be best.
