Meet Dimitri! This handsome 2 year old flame-point Siamese has a personality just as big as his gorgeous looks. Dimitri is a former tomcat who has plenty of opinions, a stubborn streak, and absolutely no shortage of sass. He’s a cat who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to let you know!
Dimitri is FIV-positive, so he’ll need to remain an indoor-only kitty. Unfortunately, he hasn’t quite accepted that his days of roaming the great outdoors are behind him. He’s always keeping an eye out for an opportunity to make an escape, so his new family will need to be extra mindful of doors, windows, and other potential escape routes.
We’ll be upfront: Dimitri isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. When overwhelmed or overstimulated, he can become bitey, so understanding his body language, respecting his boundaries, and knowing when to give him space will be incredibly important. He also needs to be the one and ONLY cat in the household. He does not tolerate other cats and will attack them, so a feline-free home is an absolute must.
We’re looking for an experienced cat owner, preferably someone familiar with the Siamese breed and their strong personalities, independent nature, and tendency to have very strong opinions about absolutely everything.
Dimitri needs someone who appreciates a cat with a little extra spice, respects his boundaries, and is willing to let him be exactly who he is.
