Look who is ready for adoption!! BARNEY!!! 💜🐾

After being hit by a car and suffering multiple fractures in his back leg, Barney needed surgery to have his leg amputated. Thanks to everyone who donated, shared, and cheered him on, he’s had his surgery, recovered, and is ready for his next chapter—a forever home! He has also now been neutered and is fully vaccinated!

Barney is a one-year-old hound who doesn’t know a stranger. Losing a leg hasn’t slowed his enthusiasm for life or his love for people. He’s got three legs and a whole lot of friendship to offer! 🥰

He acts like he wants to play with other dogs, so a meet and greet will be needed with any dogs in the home. He is VERY interested in our cats and hasn’t hurt one, but that interest should be considered if you have feline family members.

This sweet boy has been through so much at just a year old. Now he deserves to spend his days being loved, spoiled, and making happy memories with a family of his own.
