Garvey is a 7-month-old black kitten with a heart as big as his adorable wobbly walk. He has cerebellar hypoplasia, also known as “wobbly cat syndrome,” a neurological condition that affects his balance and coordination but is not painful or progressive. Garvey doesn’t let it slow him down—he happily explores his surroundings, plays, and enjoys life in his own unique way.
Garvey also has a cleft palate, but it doesn’t affect his ability to eat or enjoy his meals. He came to us as a stray, and despite his rough start, he has remained incredibly sweet, gentle, and easygoing. He’s the kind of cat who is content to relax by your side, soak up affection, and remind you that being a little different just makes you extra special.
