Victor
Victor is finally ready for adoption!! Victor came to us back in September and we found out he was heartworm positive. Victor has underwent heartworm treatment and had his blood draw yesterday that showed he was microfilaria negative. Victor will need a heartworm preventative every month and a heartworm test on 9/3/2025. Otherwise, he is ready to bust out of here! Victor is a friendly boy and loves everyone he meets. He does act like a GSD and can be a little mouthy. Victor has been cooped up and on cage rest for many months so he may need a little more time to adapt to your home. He needs room to stretch his legs. A fence or an acreage would be best. Victor is pretty laid back in the yard and just loves attention and being close to you. He will need to be an inside dog, but would love to have plenty of room to be outside too. Victor didn’t care about the cats in the shelter. Victor did not react to our shelter dogs when he first arrived, but over time has became more reactive. We feel this may be due to the stress of his treatment, having to be on a cage rest and just the stress of the shelter in geberal A meet and greet with your dog will be required. Vinnie is an estimated 5-6 year old pit mix who is going to need a very patient adopter and has experience with his breed. Vinnie has shown absolutely no aggression in our shelter, but he is very indifferent and hard to read. He is very, very sad, and will bark at you in his kennel to let him out. He appears to have been dumped, and he just wants to go home. He shows little emotion and is going to need someone who has the time to bond with him. Adult only home. Meet and greet with your dog would be required. Unsure of cats. He does need a special home but we feel he will be a great dog with lots of love, time and patience. Say hello to Vixey! Vixey came in as a stray momma with kittens. Her kittens are grown and now momma needs a forever home! She was semi-feral when she came in and is still quite shy.
