Say hello to Ruger! Ruger is a German Shorthair Pointer and was born February of 2023. Ruger is in need of a new forever home! He is a fun, playful guy. He appears to get along with other dogs, but a meet and greet will be required with your dog(s). We still need to cat test him. He is neutered and been fully vaccinated. He is a very smart dog and aims to please. He could easily be trained for hunting or a companion with an active family! Rusty is a one-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing in at just 11 pounds of adorable energy! This little guy loves to run and play—he’d be happiest in a home with a fenced yard where he can zoom around safely and burn off that energy.
Rusty can be a bit timid at first, so he’ll need a patient adopter willing to give him time to build confidence and feel secure. Once he trusts you, his sweet and playful personality shines through.
He does great with other dogs and has done fine with the cats in the shelter (though he may give them a playful chase from time to time). Because he’s still gaining confidence, a home with older, respectful kids would be best.
Rusty is ready to find a loving family who can help him come out of his shell and enjoy all the good things life has to offer. 💛

Ryker is still waiting for the right forever home to snatch him up. Ryker will need room to run, no apartments. A big fenced in yard would be ideal. He loves to go on walks and walks nicely on a leash. He likes to play with toys. He has reacted to some of our dogs so we will require a meet and greet with your dog.
