This playful, friendly boy is Oscar! Oscar was adopted from us as a puppy and was returned due to being nippy, and showing too much interest in their cats and chickens. Oscar is a Husky/Australian shepherd mix, we believe, and is around 7 months old. Oscar would do best in a home with older kids. He quickly learned sit and really wants to please. He enjoys going for walks. He gets along with other dogs. A yard where he can run off his puppy energy would be ideal. Meet Oso — The Fluffy, Fun-Loving Chow Chow
Oso is a young Chow who’s equal parts silly zoomies and independent spirit! True to his breed, Oso can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up he loves attention, toys, and showing off his playful side. He has lots of energy and will thrive with an adopter who understands the Chow breed’s loyal yet independent nature.
Oso does not react to the other dogs here at the shelter and would still benefit from a meet-and-greet with any potential canine friends. He also hasn’t reacted to our cats. Because he can be a bit reserved and may take time to trust new people, he would do best in a home with older children.
Oso is getting neutered soon and then will be ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a fluffy companion who brings both personality and heart, Oso may be your perfect match!

Otis came in as a stray in pretty rough condition. He has now been fully vetted and is ready for his forever home! Estimated around 2 years old. He is shy at first and will need an adopter who will give him time to adjust. He enjoys exploring and will come up to you when he wants attention.

Otto

Say hello to Otto! Yes he is adorable, but oh my is he a handful. He is going to need a special adopter who is familiar with the bulldog breed. He is extremely hyper, has no manners, and will need training in his home. He needs to be the only animal in his home, and someone who has time to work with him. No children. He jumps and jumps on you, and has very selective hearing. We guess him around two years old, but will have the vet give a better estimate when he is neutered on March 1st. Ozzy

Ozzy had fun walking in the Log Cabin Day’s Parade this morning! He was sociable with everyone and loves kids. Ozzy would love a forever home with a fenced in yard for his people to play with him. He is a three year old pit mix who does need to be the only dog. Unsure on cats. If you would like to meet Ozzy please stop by the shelter!

These three boys Ozzy, Cooper and Rocky, will be looking for their forever homes very soon! We want to start taking applications to try to get them out of the shelter as soon as possible! They are sweet and absolutely want all your attention! They will need training and continued socialization to ensure they grow up to be the best boys!! We believe there is some Aussie in there so please research the breed! They will need to come back to the shelter for booster vaccines and then to be neutered when age appropriate by our local vet so you must be willing to travel or live in a fairly close proximity.
