Jake

Say hello to Jake! Jake is a sweet boy looking for his forever home. He can be a little shy at first but warms up quickly! He has not reacted to the dogs or cats in our shelter, but will still need a meet and greet with your dog. Estimated age of 5-6 years old. An apartment would not work for Jake, as he is VERY vocal! Jake is a 2-3 year old Shepherd Mix. Jake is a sweet energetic boy who had very little training in his previous home. He is mouthy and will bite at your hands in play. He has a lot of mannerisms of a heeler and will put the leash in his mouth to walk you. Jake appears to like other dogs. We would require a meet and greet with your dog. This pretty girl is Jane. Jane has been with us at Kiya Koda for about 10 months now and we would love to find her a forever home! She is about 2 years old and is very sweet, yet skittish until she trusts you. Jane would do best in a quiet home in which she is the only cat. It will take a bit of time to earn her full trust, but once you have it her cuddly and playful personality will show! She loves to roll around, have her cheeks scratched, and find cozy spots to nap. This handsome man is Jerry! Jerry is an 8 year old chunky FIV positive kitty looking for his forever home. Please see attached FIV fact sheet to understand his needs. This sweet girl is Jersey. We got a call that a dog was out by the dog park and had been there all day. Jersey would not let us approach her and we had to live trap her. When walking up to the trap she gave me a little tail wag, and I knew then she was a sweet girl! Jersey is starting to come out of her shell, and is being more playful in the yard. She would do best with someone who is home more often then not because she does love attention. She gets along with other dogs with a slow introduction. No small kids. Unsure on cats.
