Happy Tails

THANK YOU

Our staff and volunteers want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who has adopted a furry friend from us! Our adoption numbers have hit an all time high! We couldn’t have done it without those of you who have made the choice to change a life forever and give a shelter animal their much deserved forever home.

Bill

Meet Bill – our resident comedian with a built-in siren 🎤🐾

Bill is a funny Husky (possibly Malamute) who is true to his breed in every way. The noises that come out of this dog are absolutely insane—in the best way possible. Bill is loud, expressive, and will happily tell you all about his feelings, especially if he’s not pleased. Expect dramatic fits, commentary, and plenty of laughs.

Because Bill is Bill, no apartments—he needs space and an adopter who appreciates a vocal, energetic, big-personality dog.

Despite his theatrics, Bill is a great dog who loves attention and adores people. He’s smart—maybe a little too smart for his own good—and already knows sit, lay down, and stay. He’s definitely too smart for his britches and uses that brain to keep life interesting.

Bill does not love cats or chickens. He hasn’t reacted to our dogs here, but a meet and greet will be required with any canine siblings to make sure everyone gets along.

Bill will need a patient adopter who understands his breed, embraces his quirks, and can laugh at his over-the-top personality. He’s a staff favorite for a reason—Bill keeps us entertained daily and fills the room with life (and noise).

If you’re looking for a loyal, hilarious, talkative companion who will keep you on your toes and never let life be boring… Bill is your guy. 💙🐺

Bindi

Meet Bindi – a sweet Texas Heeler looking for her forever calm and loving home! 🐾

Bindi is not your typical Heeler—she’s gentle, affectionate, and absolutely adores people. She thrives on love and attention and would do best in a quiet home where she can feel safe and secure.

Bindi can be a little shy with loud sounds or sudden movements, often hanging her head or tucking her tail as if she thinks she’s in trouble. With patience, gentle reassurance, and lots of love, she’s learning every day that she’s safe—and what a good girl she is! 💖

She has not reacted to our dogs and is good with cats, but she will need to meet your dog before going home to ensure a smooth introduction. Bindi is estimated to be between 6–8 years old, bringing a sweet, calm energy to her forever family.

This sweet girl loves being with her person and would shine in a home where someone is around most of the time to shower her with attention and affection. She’s another favorite of mine that I would take home if I could!

If you’re looking for a devoted, loving companion who will follow you wherever you go, Bindi might just be your perfect match. Please fill out a dog application from our website soon!

Birdie

Say hello to Birdie! Birdie is an estimated five year old female cat. Birdie is sassy, and likes attention. She will tolerate another cat if they mind their own business. She has hissed when the cats here get too close, but has never hurt one. She is not fond of our shelter dog, Benji, and will spit and swat at him so a home with no dogs would be ideal. If you would like to meet this sassy girl call the shelter for an appointment! Thank you!!
