CALLING ALL SENIOR LOVERS!

Winnie is a 12-year-old pit mix with the kind of gentle soul that makes you wonder how she ended up being this perfect.

She is the sweetest girl, looking for a soft place to land and a home to spend her golden years soaking up all the love she absolutely deserves. Winnie is healthy for her age, just a little “seasoned”—missing a few teeth (she says they were overrated anyway), so she enjoys soft food or kibble that’s been a little spa-treated with water.

Like many of us in our wiser years, Winnie moves a bit slower and carries a touch of arthritis. She takes daily Cosequin like a champ and prefers life at a calm, easy pace. Think cozy blanket over chaos, naps over nonsense.

She does well with other dogs here and shows no reaction, but she’d really prefer a home with a calm, older, respectful canine companion—no rowdy roommates bouncing off the furniture. She also would take all the princess treatment as the only dog without any complaints! Winnie is not here for high-energy antics or surprise wrestling matches. She is, however, very here for peace, companionship, and snacks.

She shows interest in cats but was respectful and non-reactive on leash. With proper introductions and calm supervision, she may do just fine.

Winnie has so much love left to give. She would thrive in a quiet home where she can finally relax, be doted on, and enjoy her well-earned retirement like the queen she is.

Winnie is a 1-2 year old English Setter who is full of energy and appears to have hunted in the past. She came in a stray, but will spot birds, chase and point. She will need a fenced yard or a way to be contained. She will run off if given the chance. She is very sweet. Good with other dogs and cats. Is working hard on her potty training and is keeping her kennel clean at the shelter now. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Winston is a happy pit mix looking for his forever home. He was brought in as a stray so little is known about him. Estimated around 4-6 years old. He does not react to the dogs in our shelter but a meet and greet with your dog would be required. Unsure about cats. This handsome boy is Winston! Winston is a friendly, estimated two year old, brindle mix. Winston does not play a whole lot with toys, but he does like to run in the yard! He likes attention and being around people. He loves going on walks and does great on leash! He would be an excellent running partner!
Winston did not react to our cats. Winston has reacted to some of our dogs and a meet and greet would be required with your dog. He also would do great as the only dog! Winston has been neutered and fully vaccinated! He is ready for his forever home! Stop by the shelter and meet him soon!!

We would like you to meet Wizard. Wizard came to us as a stray so no history is known. Wizard is pretty shy and scared in the shelter. He does wag his tail at other dogs and appears to want to play with them. When he was in the shelter he did want to smell our cats, but he did not react. Meet Wren 🤎

Wren is a 3–4 year old hound mix with the sweetest personality and a heart full of love. She enjoys playing out in the yard, soaking up the sunshine, and then coming inside to relax.

She is dog-friendly and would love another playful pup in the home to run and have fun with. She also did well with our cats! Wren is easygoing, affectionate, and just an all-around good girl who would fit beautifully into most homes.
