This friendly and goofy guy is Banjo! He gets along with other dogs, likes to go on walks, and would make a great addition to a family. Unsure on cats. He is more independent as we do believe he lived outside most his life. Estimated to be around 5-6 years old. He will wonder off if not contained or trained to know his boundaries. Barn/Shop Cats Looking for a Home 
Apple Cider, Shirley Temple, and Lemonade are three female cats in need of a barn, shop, or other safe outdoor home. These girls are not socialized and do not tolerate being touched. However, they would thrive as working cats helping to keep rodent populations under control.
They are spayed, vaccinated, and looking for a place where they can live safely while enjoying their independence. A barn, shed, workshop, stable, or acreage would be ideal.

Bear is a 6 year old boy looking for his forever home! Bear is a friendly guy who does not react to other dogs. He likes to go on walks and is quite hefty so someone who can continue this would be great! Bear has been around kids and does fine. Does not react to our cats. Bear will need a yard with a fence or someone who will take him out on leash. He likes to explore if left unattended. If you would like to meet him please stop by the shelter soon!!

Bear Bear

Bear-Bear was seized from a property in Warren County in terrible condition. He appeared to be put in the back of the property and forgotten about. We did not know what breed he was when we arrived. He was extremely matted and covered in fleas, ticks, starving and had a skin infection. After having him shaved we were surprised to found out he is a schnauzer. He has been treated with medicated baths, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds. His hair is slowly coming back. Bear-Bear is 14 years old. He is independent and needs a patient adopter who will show him how to be a dog again. He does wear a belly band due to not being potty-trained and he does very well with this. He gets along with cats, and calm dogs. A quiet home with no small kids would be ideal. A fenced in yard, or someone who can take him out on a leash will be required as Bear-Bear does like to explore and does not listen too well when you call him back. Beau was adopted with his brother Bear and unfortunately they did not do well together in the same home. There was some jealousy between the two and unfortunately they ended up “getting into it.” It was decided it would be in the best interest of both of them if they live in separate homes. Please no negative comments. Our focus now is to get Beau into a home. He is a very sweet boy. Two years old. Please research his breed. Hi My name is Beauford

Hi My name is Beauford. I am a Basset Hound/Beagle mix. I am a pretty low energy boy who would love a quiet home to lounge on the couch. Please do not judge me when you approach me through my kennel because I can react, but once outside I warm up very quickly. I can be picky about dogs so would need to meet yours before going home. Beethoven

Beethoven would like everyone to know that despite several meet and greets, he is STILL somehow unemployed as a full-time family dog. Frankly, he finds this shocking.

Beethoven is a 2 year old deaf pit mix who continues to be SO close to finding his forever family. Every meet and greet just confirms what we already knew… this dog is ridiculously lovable.
Things Beethoven enjoys:
• Meeting new people with the enthusiasm of someone winning the lottery
• Tug of war
• Chasing balls
• More balls
• Kids
• Existing at full volume until he burns off some excitement
Beethoven has done AMAZING with everyone he has met. He loves people so much that sometimes his body simply cannot contain his excitement, which means he may jump up to personally welcome you to the Beethoven Fan Club. The good news? Once he gets his energy out, he settles down nicely and just enjoys hanging out with his people.
He absolutely adored the kids he met and happily let them take toys right out of his mouth. However, during one meet and greet, Beethoven was a little too fascinated with the 7 month old baby. Not in a mean way at all… more in a “WAIT… is that a brand new squeaky toy?!” kind of way. Because of this, we think Beethoven would do best with kids around 8+ who can fully appreciate his goofy play style.
He also did wonderful with the female dog he met.
Poor Beethoven keeps getting this close to adoption and then one tiny detail makes it not quite the right fit. Nobody’s fault. He is truly SUCH a good dog. He just needs a family who understands that he comes with a big personality, a big head, and approximately zero understanding of personal space.
Somewhere out there is a home looking for a goofy, loving, toy-obsessed best friend. Beethoven is waiting patiently… well, as patiently as Beethoven can.
